About the program

The WEIS ENGINEERING Graduate Trainee Program (WGTP)  2020 is designed for recent graduates. During the WGTP, you will be exposed to cross-functional operations and activities, delivering an all-round experience. The program comprises training in the form of hands-on working experience, making the WGTP the perfect start to your career.

What we are looking for

Passionate, highly motivated, competitive, creative, bright and talented individuals, who can collaborate with and learn from our experienced teams. Challenge yourself, join the WEIS ENGINEERING team, and contribute to the effort to uplift the quality of works (engineering, administration, accounting to mention) in Uganda.

Minimum qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree (or set to graduate ) from a recognized university in any of the following areas: Irrigation engineering, Water Engineering, Civil Engineering, business administration, or related.
  • Less than 1 year of work experience.

Graduate Engineer allowance

Graduate Engineers receive a monthly allowance of 200,000Ugx per month as transport facilitation. Field allowance per day in field varies from 20,000Ugx and depends on the type of field (some field works may not have field allowance). Transport, basic accommodation, basic feeding, communication to mention are provided.

Are graduate Engineers interviewed?

Yes, when there is an opportunity for graduate Engineers, those who submitted will be invited for an interview and one or two will be selected.
